Lexapro (Escitalopram) Is Studied In Effective Treatment Of Depression

Depression is a chronic disease that requires medical treatment. But there is not a large choice of  FDA-approved options to prescribe. The results of  a study presented at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association suggest that Lexapro drug can be a useful antipsychotic medication for adolescents with depression.
