ACIPHEX Is Approved For GERD Treatment In Adolescents

ACIPHEX rabeprazoleACIPHEX (rabeprazole Sodium) is a prescription medication that was discovered and developed by Eisai and is copromoted in the United States with PriCara(R), a Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.. The multi-center, open-label, randomized, parallel-group study included 111 adolescent GERD patients and lasted 12 weeks. All patients well tolerated generic Aciphex and the negative events that took place:  headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain didn’t refer to relationship to ACIPHEX drug.

This research revealed that ACIPHEX medication is effective in reducing the severity and frequency of GERD symptoms.
